If your credit card bills or credit loans are piling up, or you are simply deep in debt, do not worry. There are tools available to help, one of which is credit card counseling debt consolidation. The credit card counseling professional will be on your side to assist you through the process and help you on your way to getting out of debt. Your counselor will education you on successful debt management skills and to help you carry out an appropriate debt management program. You will gain the knowledge needed to help improve your current financial situation and the tools and skills to contribute to your long-term financial future. Your counselor will teach you how to avoid harmful spending habits, patterns of late payments and other financial habits putting you in debt.

The central goal of the counseling program is to help you rid of your accumulated debt. The goal is not to eliminate some of the debt, but rather all of it and also to avoid the recurrence of a high debt situation. Along the way, though, essential to your long-term financial health is to gain the knowledge you need to survive. If you do not know or understand something, you must ask the credit card counseling company. Never be afraid to ask questions and even do your own research. If you do not understand a budget, you must ask. If you have questions regarding your credit report or how to understand credit ratings, the counselor can explain it to you and help you understand. If you do not understand interest rates on credit accounts, have banking-related questions, or do not understand the difference between secured and unsecured debt, the counselor can help.

One aspect of the program may be a debt or credit consolidation, which may include your credit card debt and a debt consolidation loan. Before acting on this consolidation, though, be sure to ask about and research any potential consequences or impacts of a consolidation. For example, one impact may be the inability to use any of your credit cards after the consolidation. If you are trying to get out of debt, this should not be much of an issue, but you need to know these things prior to taking this step. Of course, when choosing a debt counseling and consolidation program, eliminating your unsecured debt should be top priority. Keep this in mind as you commit to a service.

I need to know how actually consumer credit counseling actually affect my credit rating. Please let me know

Your credit score is affected by two things. Your payments and your debt to income ratio. So, if you have never been late on anything but your debt keeps increasing, then eventually your scroll will start dropping. Many people are so worried about their credit score and would rather drown in debt than have their score affected. This is why many people are against any debt solutions out there. Its like wondering why would any one have a perfect lawn, but the house on it not be live able. There are many debt programs out there that can help get rid of debt, but there are also many scams out there as well. Each as its pros and cons, and honestly not all affect your score. Some actually may help it in the long run. All the debt solutions out there work, but they DO NOT work for all. Meaning, you have to find a solution that is tailored to your circumstances and debt needs.

I used to work for a debt management firm for many years, but left after having my child. Let me know if you have any questions. You can reach me at life77449@yahoo.com and I can forward you my contact information.

Hope this helps. Best of Luck.

Please let me know where and how to find reputable counseling debt services?I need help, please.

I used to work with a debt settlement firm for several years and offered counseling, but left after having my child. There is always a solution for every debt case, and I honestly believe anyone can get out of debt if they have the right solution. I have helped several people get out of debt by negotiating for them rather than going through a company and paying the extravagant fees they charge. After evaluating your needs and situation, I can determine which way you should go to get rid of your debt. I don't charge anything for counseling, but all I ask is for a good note with referrals in the end. I can be reached at life77449@yahoo.com and can forward you my contact information from there if you need.

Hope I can be of some help to you as well.

Are you in debt? Well, you're not alone. Debt is a mounting problem. Cheap credit and the rising cost of living has put more and more of us in debt. (...)

Are you in debt? Well, you're not alone. Debt is a mounting problem. Cheap credit and the rising cost of living has put more and more of us in debt. Sometimes that debt gets out of control and just keeps on rising. It can feel like we will never be out of the red.

The most common response is to ignore the problem and hope it will go away. This is not a good idea. You can't hide from debt. As the interest build up your debt will just keep on getting bigger.

It is better to face up to it and do something about it. Debt is not something to be ashamed of and hidden. A period of unemployment, illness, or unexpected expenses can easily force any of us into debt.

Your first step should be to contact one of the consumer credit counseling services. You will find one near you. They exist in every town and every country. Visit the website of the counsumer credit counseling service at www.cccsintl.org to find your local office.

You will be able to talk through your problems with an experienced financial advisor who understands consumer credit and the issues surrounding debt. They will help you to make a plan to pay off your debts and keep out of debt in the future. You don't have to be foolish or incompetent to get into debt.

There is a fee to pay. They have to keep their service going. But it is very reasonable and it is small price to pay to escape from the anxiety that chronic debt produces.

They will ask you to bring in all your financial details and be open with them about your debts, bills and income. This is the only way they can assess your financial situation. The whole thing is entirely confidential so there is nothing to worry about. Your employer, your friends and family need never know.

They will negotiate with your creditors on your behalf and work out a payment plan that you can manage. Most lenders would rather accept some payment rather than none. The consumer credit counseling service has immense experience at negotiating in these cases. They will get you the best deal possible.

Once they've established a repayment plan the consumer credit counseling service will work out a budget for you that should keep you debt free. They work with you to plan your finances and put you back on track.

Debt is something you cannot struggle with alone. You need expert help. That is what the consumer credit counseling service provide.

So if you are struggling under a burden of debt look for their website, in the Yellow Pages or ring them on the toll free number 1-800-873-2227.

It could make all the difference to your life.
